Donated ASIS Rescue Boats Find Volunteers
To Assist For Humanitarian Relief In Philippines
Dubai , UAE- Following Typhoon Haiyan, ASIS Boats, the GCC manufacturer of professional grade rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) for military, law enforcement, commercial and private industry offered its assistance to the Philippines by sending Fully Inflatable Rescue boats.
ASIS Boats would like to thank everyone involved for the overwhelmingly generous response we received to our requests for volunteer assistance with flood rescue, recovery and humanitarian relief operations in the Philippines in the immediate aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan. We are so very grateful to the many individuals and organizations that immediately came forward in response to our urgent request.
Among the many responses, ASIS Boats will be sending the donated inflatable rescue crafts to the Philippine Red Cross via LBC in coordination with the Philippines Embassy in Abu Dhabi- UAE.
We hope these fully inflatable rescue boats will reach the affected areas as soon as possible and in time to positively impact the ongoing search &rescue and humanitarian relief efforts as well to as to be on-hand for any future flood response missions.
Again, a huge thanks to the ASIS Boats’ Team and all the other volunteers who helped bring about this response so quickly.
